Update on Bullington Castle

We have uploaded the e-book and the paperback onto the distributors. Having technical troubles with uploading the Kindle, but it should be on by the weekend.

Release date is the 30th September 2020 and the first two chapters plus a blurb can be read on this website. Thank you.

Bullington Castle

If I had the tech’ skills to publish book 3 by myself it would have been on sale months ago, but, as I have the tech’ skills of a three year old [debatable] I had to engage those who knew what they were doing.

To cut a long story short, the print book my daughter Melissa formatted for me was fine, it was the Kindle and e-book that held everything up until I finally engaged ‘liberwriters’ a professional team of lovely people who sorted me out very quickly. Assuming nothing else goes wrong the book will be uploaded in a couple of weeks and on sale by the end of September, or there about. I will keep you informed.

I have kept busy by entering a couple of short stories into prestigious competitions, a twist in the tale and a horror along with writing book 4, The Dirty Duck Inn. Progress has been a bit slow as I have been distracted so much I lost momentum for several weeks.

Anyway, don’t let them get to you, avoid men in white coats carrying straight jackets and don’t accept rosy apples from little old ladies. Keep smiling and safe.

Best wishes to the world and his dog.

Frustration

Frustrating as it is, I’m still held back from publishing book 3 because of the lock-down until I can physically meet up with those who help me put everything together. If I attempt to do it myself I know I’ll end up in a mess and lose the plot.

Covid 19 has had such a profound affect on so many lives they may not ever fully get over it. Putting into perspective what is truly important in life. Publishing a book isn’t high on that list.

However, escaping into another world through the books we love to read is so beneficial and a respite from stress, worry and boredom while lifting our emotional equanimity.

Failing that, I find a few beers works just as well and even better when the two are combined.

I sincerely hope it won’t be much longer before the book is up for sale.

Keep well. Keep safe and try to keep smiling.
